Highlight matches parks to how you travel.
Most travel content tells you where to go. Highlight starts with what matters to you and works backward. Pick your criteria, weight them how you want, and see which parks rank highest for that combination.
Every park is scored across dozens of criteria using real data: government sources, established indices, verified measurements. When a score appears, it traces back to something concrete.
Rankings come from the data matching your criteria. Nothing else.

These links never influence rankings or scores. The data decides what surfaces. The business model follows. Full details in our Affiliate Disclosure.
Criteria are scored 1-100 using rank-based percentiles. A score of 90 means top 10% nationally for that criterion. A score of 30 means bottom third. Higher always means more of that thing.
U.S. cities and national parks now. Small towns and international destinations coming. Each vertical uses criteria specific to that type of trip.
